We typically require between 3 to 7 working days’ notice to bring your items from storage, depending on our availability at the time. It’s best to contact us as soon as possible to schedule your move-out and secure the earliest possible date.
If you need to cancel your booking, our cancellation charges depend on the notice you provide.
If you cancel more than 7 working days before the scheduled removal, you’ll receive a full refund of all payments made, including the holding deposit. For cancellations made between 1 to 6 working days before the scheduled removal, we will keep up to 50% of the removal charge, and the holding deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for the removal charge, and the holding deposit will also be non-refundable.
If you need to postpone your booking, we treat postponements much more leniently than cancellations. Each postponement request is handled individually, based on our availability. The earlier you inform us, the better we can accommodate your new preferred date. We understand that plans can change, so we’ll do our best to find a suitable new time for your removal. Any potential charges for postponing will be communicated to you when you make your request, but these are generally less strict than cancellation fees.
Yes, you’re insured when you book our services. Here’s the rundown:
If you see any damage or loss when your items are delivered, let us know right away. For other issues, you have a seven-day window after delivery to make a claim.
We offer two types of insurance. Comprehensive Insurance covers your items up to the value you declare. It includes protection during A to B moves or move into and out of storage at 1% of the declared value, and while your items are in storage at 0.2% of the declared value per month. Basic Insurance, on the other hand, automatically covers your items up to £40 each if you don’t declare a value.
For example, if the declared value of your items is £10,000:
One-time move fee: 1% of £10,000 = £100 one off
Monthly storage: 0.2% of £10,000 = £20 per month

Due to the strict health and safety regulations in our industrial warehouses, access to your RadPod(s) must be supervised by our trained staff to ensure safe handling. Accessing your items independently or with untrained help is not advised, as this voids comprehensive insurance coverage. All-access requests incur charges and must be scheduled in advance.

Yes, we can help with disconnecting and reconnecting appliances, but there are a few things to keep in mind. Some members of our crew are handymen and can handle these tasks, but we need to know in advance so we can allocate the right staff. Please let us know in writing ahead of time if you need this service.
It’s important to note that our team can only handle simple jobs. We can manage straightforward tasks like unplugging or plugging in appliances, but we cannot deal with anything involving pipework or more complex installations. This ensures everything is done safely and correctly. If you have any specific requirements, just let us know as we might know the right trade person for you.
Our vehicles need to park within 20 meters of the entrance at both the pick-up and drop-off locations. We also need to be aware of any local height, length, and weight restrictions. It’s important that parking permits are arranged and paid for in advance by the customer.
If you prefer, we can arrange a parking suspension with the council to ensure proper parking space for our vehicles. Additionally, if there are any parking penalties due to not providing the necessary permits, you will be responsible for paying them. In some cases, depending on the borough, it might actually be more cost-effective to pay a parking fine. Our van typically requires two parking bays, but it can only receive one penalty ticket. This approach can sometimes be the best value for money, depending on local regulations.
